Vérone, lieu idéal pour mener à bien nos sondages, auprès des Italiens, concernant l'avortement.

We went to the old town of Verona in order to find out the Italian position concerning abortion.

Students’ program
Tuesday, April 20th
Arrival of students and accommodation in host families
(Host families will welcome students at Verona Airport, Railway Station and at the hotel – Danish group)
Wednesday, April 21st
08.00 – 08.15: Students’ check-in and welcome meeting.
08.15 – 09.45: Workshop in multimedia laboratory with Mrs. Coppi.
Presentation of the participants’ works and discussion on bioethics.
10.00: Official opening of the meeting – all teachers in the Lecture Room.
10.30 – 11.00: Coffee-break.
11.00 – 13.00: Lecture Room – writing of the questionnaires to be given in town.
13.00 – 14.00: Break and free lunch.
14.30: Transfer to the old town by local bus service.
15- 16.30: Handing out of questionnaires in the old town.
17.00: Piano concert with Adrian Nicodim, a student at the Istituto Einaudi, in the music hall of the local music academy, next to the Church of Santa Anastasia. Music of Schumann and Chopin.
17.30: Return to the host families.
Thursday, April 22nd
08.00 – 09:45: Workshop in multimedia laboratory with Mrs. Coppi.
Checking on results and drafting the final conclusions.
10.00 - 10.30: Presentation of final conclusions in the Lecture Room with all teachers.
10.30 - 11.00: Coffe-break.
11.00 - 13: Choice of the inning logo and final disussion.
13.20: Return to host families.
Free afternoon and evening.

In tutte le classi sarà visionato il film “Gattaca”. Sarà cura del gruppo di lavoro scegliere se la pellicola sarà visionata in italiano o in inglese, con sottotitoli o no, a casa o in classe.
L’insegnante di religione curerà la discussione in classe portando gli alunni a riflettere sui contenuti del film.
Gli alunni saranno portati a riflettere sulla bioetica e in particolare sul tema: “Vita e responsabilità della vita per l’Uomo”.
Alla riflessione contribuiranno gli insegnanti di lingua che possono presentare un articolo o altro tipo di testo o documento in lingua attinente al tema. Sarà interessante mettere a confronto il punto di vista della scienza e il punto di vista dell’etica (con riferimento alla posizione della Chiesa). L’insegnante di scienze e l’insegnante di religione saranno coinvolti in questo approfondimento.

Sarà importante esaminare in particolare la normativa che regola la ricerca nel campo dell’ingegneria genetica in relazione alla “nascita” dell’essere umano, alla vita nel suo complesso , al miglioramento della stessa e alla guarigione di malattie genetiche e non.

Proprio dal confronto tra legge, scienza, etica da un lato e l’analisi di storie o riflessioni personali, dovrebbero emergere una serie di interrogativi da parte degli alunni. Queste domande andranno raccolte e formulate in un documento.

Tutte le scuole coinvolte nel progetto svolgeranno questa attività e nell’incontro di Verona (20/23 aprile) ciascun Paese riferirà sul lavoro svolto.

In particolare gli studenti confronteranno le diverse posizioni giuridiche che ciascun Paese ha adottato nei confronti di questo argomento. Le domande che gli alunni avranno espresso saranno confrontate e selezionate al fine di formulare un questionario comune, che verrà somministrato a Verona in centro città. Gli alunni rielaboreranno le risposte al questionario formulando alcune semplici affermazioni che rappresentano la loro opinione e la loro posizione in merito a questa tematica. Queste affermazioni costituiscono il prodotto finale che verrà inserito nell’opuscolo generale finale che si realizzerà per questo progetto Comenius ‘Unity in Diversity. Lo scopo è quello di rilevare le diverse posizioni dei Paesi Europei in merito a questa tematica, , ma anche quello di stimolare la riflessione sulle diverse posizioni che sussistono all’interno della Comunità, dando contemporaneamente voce e possibilità di espressione anche ai giovani.
